In the summer of 2011, a group of friends got together in the hopes of filling a gap in the market of student organizations because we realized internationals didn’t have the same social opportunities as Dutch students. The idea was to become an organization that would focus on international students in Rotterdam; organizing events to enhance student life and providing all the information that is useful to internationals. This led to the creation of our non-profit student organization: International Students Rotterdam.
